Sulphur free (SF) gas oil is a diesel type fuel commonly used in industrial boilers, in home heating systems and particularly as a fuel for off-road vehicles such as tractors, thus the term tractor diesel. The SF fuel oil is dyed green together with containing a chemical marker, unlike the more modern Kerosene.
